Rare soft-shell turtle (Pelochelys cantorii) found in Pulau Weh

Something new we found on the 2nd January 2010. Soft Shell Turtle (Pelochelys cantorii) we found it on Hotspring Volcano at 17.40pm. We find together with Malaysian divers (Yunice Group). This turtle we saw it sleeping cover with sand nearly coral reef in 5 meters depth. This is the first time we saw it and really... really... rare. read more
World War II Bomb

On 18th June 2009 whilst fun diving on the East Seulako dive site 20mins from Pulau Weh local diver Andy Coconut discovered an untouched World War II bomb. Still live the bomb is situated at 20m depth and is covered with a small amount of marine life. The site is now known as "The Andy Coconut Bomb Site". Pictures taken by: Jerry Norman-Nottread more
